Join N.C. Cooperative Extension – Wilkes County Center and the Wilkes Community College Small Business Center for a workshop designed for commercial landscapers and landscape contractors.

The class will offer 4 credits towards a North Carolina Landscape Contractors’ License (3 business and 1 technical, pending approval). It will not offer any pesticide recertification credits.

Presented by Mike Collins, The Perfect Workday Company

Mike Collins is the author of The Best Small Business to Start Right Now and president of The Perfect Workday Company. He has presented 2000+ seminars and webinars for all 58 of North Carolina Community Colleges. He frequently presents Dynamite Marketing on a Firecracker Budget.

12 p.m. – 1 p.m.  – “Introduction to Plant Diseases and Their Management in the Landscape” Presented by Mike Munster, NC State PDIC

Mike Munster is a plant pathologist and diagnostician. He oversees disease and disorder diagnosis of ornamental plants submitted to North Carolina State University’s Plant Disease and Insect Clinic.
