Join N.C. Cooperative Extension – Wilkes County and Wayne Riddle from Turbo-mist for an Air Blast Sprayer Calibration Training. There will be a presentation demosntrating calculations involved in calibration, as well as a hands-on demonstration with a sprayer. This training will provide valuable tips on proper calibration methods for more effective applications.

The class will be at Perry Lowe Orchards building at 4085 Price Rd, Moravian Falls, NC. Turn on Moore Mountain Rd. off of NC Hwy 16, and follow the road up the mountain until you see their building (says Perry Lowe Orchards across the front) on the right, just as you cross back into Wilkes County.

From their apple house (8741 NC Hwy 16, Moravian Falls NC), go north on NC Hwy 16, and take the first left onto Moore Mountain Rd. Follow the road up to their building, on the right.

Registration is requested via the Eventbrite page, but please don’t hesitate to show up if you find yourself with time to attend at the last minute! We will begin at 9 a.m.

Orchard and vineyard managers are encouraged to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
