Dear Farmers and Farm Leaders:

You are invited to the 2019 Southern Farm Show on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

The Southern Farm Show is the largest agricultural exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia where ONLY agricultural and related industry companies are allowed to participate. If you are planning on upgrading your equipment or you’re looking for the most up-to-date solutions for higher profits and better yield, come to the Southern Farm Show.

Show admission is free. Transportation will be provided via a chartered bus at the cost of $12.00 per person. This price has been reduced from regular fare because of sponsorship by businesses in the county. The bus will depart from the Wilkes County Agricultural Building, 416 Executive Drive, Wilkesboro, NC 28697 at 8:00 a.m., and a stop will be made at Parson’s Quick Stop (Wilkes/Yadkin Rd.) for the convenience of those on the eastern side of the county. We will return to Wilkesboro about 8:00 p.m. We will stop at a cafeteria in Burlington for supper on our way back.

Make your reservations by returning the form at the bottom of this letter with a $12.00 deposit by January 31st, 2019. The check should be made payable to Wilkes Ag. Council and reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to invite your neighbors, since they may not receive this letter.

Sincerely,

John Cothren
Extension Agent, Agriculture
