WHERE: Assemble at Cranberry Community Center at 10:45 a.m. to pool rides. Take Exit 276 (Red, White & Blue Rd./Mathis Farm Rd.) off US 421 South, 10 miles east of Wilkesboro. Travel south a short distance & turn left on Wilkes-Yadkin Rd., Community Center ¼ mile on left. In case of rain please meet at the Cranberry Community Center.

View and discuss 15 corn hybrids, agronomic traits, transgenic properties, rationale for demonstration, weed control, fertility and new technologies, fungicide treatment for disease control and legume cover crop utilization. –Seed Representative and John Cothren, Extension Agent, Agriculture.

Stop 2, 12:00 noon
Lunch at Cranberry Community Center, interaction with crop protection and seed company representative, update on poultry waste regulations and best management practices for profitable utilization.
