Healthy Holiday in the Kitchen

Nov. 4th: 11am

Holidays are a joyous time for good fellowship, friends, and family. Come learn some tips and tricks on how to still make your favorite holiday recipes but with a healthy twist. This workshop will be held Thursday, November 4th at 11AM. This is a virtual workshop. Remember these workshops are open to anyone. Non-ECA members are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Food Safety and DIY Appetizers for the Holidays Nov. 15th : 6:30pm




Charcuterie board with cheeses, crackers, grapes, meats, nuts, pickles, and vegetables

From the turkey to the pie learn how to keep your food safe this holiday season. This workshop will explore safe handling of turkey, baked goods, leftovers and more. We will also learn how to make your own holiday themed charcuterie board! This is an in-person workshop, pre-registration is required and limited to 10 people. Register Here»

Faithful Families: Train the Trainer November 19th, 9am-12pm

Faithful Families: Train the Trainer is a 3-hour virtual workshop for faith and community leaders interested in implementing the Faithful Families program within one of the following North Carolina counties: Alexander, Iredell, or  Wilkes. Faithful Families Thriving Communities (Faithful Families) works directly in communities of faith across the country to promote health for individuals, families, and local communities.
