Want to register your child for 4-H, but have questions about the registration process? No problem! We are happy to help.
The first step in the process is to complete an enrollment in 4-H Online (v2.4honline.com). All 4-H members are required to have an account to participate in 4-H events. This informs your county 4-H Agent of your child's health information in case of an emergency, or if there is an existing condition they need to be aware of. 4-H Online also contains all of the required consents and policies parents/guardians are required to sign.
After you create a family account, you will be asked if you want to create a participant or member account. For NC 4-H, youth are required to be in the system as a member in order to be a part of our programming.
When you reach the section about clubs, only select club(s) that you know your child is in. If they are not currently a member of a club, please select "Wilkes County Member at Large."
*New for 2024!: Youth participating in 4-H Shooting Sports must select a shooting sports specific project in the "Projects" tab. These include "telescopic small-bore rifle", "recurve archery", and "shotgun" to name a few. Once the project is selected, a consent form will pop up and requires a parent/guardian's electronic signature. Physical copies will also need to be signed and the team's coaches will have those for you.
Once all the required health forms and consents are signed, they are ready to participate in any of our activities throughout the year!
