Join food business regulators and educators from the local and state level to learn about the following topics:
- The roles of the Wilkes County Health Department, N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Wilkes Community College Small Business Center, and N.C. Cooperative Extension
- Requirements for processing food in your home, acidified food products, and value-added supplements
- Catering, Food Trucks, Fundraisers, & Temporary Food Stands
- Food products requiring Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans
- Business planning resources and considerations

Location: Wilkes County Agricultural Center, Conference Room C (416 Executive Dr., Wilkesboro NC, 28697). Across the street from Coffee House, down the hill next to the Sheriff’s Department.
For: NC Food Business Entrepreneurs at all stages of business. You do not have to live in Wilkes County to attend this seminar. Food regulations may vary slightly by county, but the overall information will be relevant to any food business entrepreneur in NC.
